Power sensor calibration

To display correct values, the power sensor needs to be calibrated appropriately.

Calibrate the power sensor according to the power sensor instruction manual before use.

If the AVVENTURA displays any value other than 0 when the power sensor is in an unloaded state, follow the procedure below to reset the AVVENTURA power value to 0.

Caution

Always perform calibration without any power applied to parts to which the power sensor is attached (cranks, etc.)

AVVENTURA

1. If the AVVENTURA is turned off, press and hold (POWER) for 1 second to turn it on.

2. Verify that the power sensor is connected.

Check whether P (power signal icon) is constant on the measurement screen.

3. Press OPTION to switch to the option screen.

4. Press MODE to select [Device], and press SS to apply the selection and display the Device screen.
Follow the same procedure and select [Device Setup] > (Target Power Sensor).

5. Select [Calibration] and press SS to confirm the selection and perform calibration.

6. Press OPTION to return to the measurement screen.

Check whether the power value on the AVVENTURA has returned to 0.

Power sensor calibration is now complete.
